On our return visit to the Kyriad we were delighted to find the place had been upgraded, with a much expanded restaurant area and 'lounge' to cope with the overspill from the bar. Now, if they could just move it to within walking distance of e city centre...
First day - Pegasus Bridge and British/Canadian Beaches.
Pegasus Bridge, Memorial Pegasus Museum, Ranville Cemetery - Airborne graves, British landing beaches - Sword Beach, Juno Beach, Gold Beach. Arromanches museum and Mulberry Harbour.
Second day - American beaches - Omaha and Utah. American Normandy Cemetery at Omaha Beach, US Airborne Museum at St. Mere Eglise, German Cemetery at La Cambe, where German Tiger Ace Michael Wittmann is buried.
